How is an Orthopedic Walk-in Clinic Different?

In many cases ER or urgent care facilities simply do not have a specialist immediately on staff, meaning you will have to make additional appointments that could delay treatment.
Our Orthopedic Walk-in Clinic was developed to treat new bone and joint injuries and provide you with immediate access to quality orthopedic care on Saturday. The Saturday Walk-in Clinic is staffed by the specialists from Pontchartrain Orthopedics & Sports Medicine and features on site x-ray, bracing, casting and injections when necessary.

What Conditions are NOT Treated ?
Please keep in mind some conditions such as head trauma, deep lacerations, and non-orthopedic conditions (flu, fever, etc.) are not be appropriate for the Pontchartrain Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Saturday Walk-in Clinic. For these conditions, please consult with your primary care physician or your local hospital emergency room.
Please note that we do not take Workers’ Compensation at the Saturday Walk-in Clinic, please call us during normal business hours if you are a Workers’ Compensation patient.
